My Brethren, family and friends,
In a few short days, many of us will pause in our daily labors to celebrate
Easter. Passover will be observed in a few weeks. The calendar also marks
the start of Spring. Less than two weeks ago, we changed our clocks, and
welcomed a few more hours of sunlight to the normal course of our days. All
around us are signs of optimism, growth and light. This time of year provides
us with plenty of reasons to maintain our spirit of optimism.
It can be tempting to give in to the cynicism we see and hear all around us.

I am lookimg for six brothers to volunteer to coordinate one Saturday to find Four brothers to fill the time slots that are open for that particular day. Just a reminder about tomorrow's check dedication ceremony at the Albany Temple, 3:00 p.m. I don't think I need to remind anyone how big a day this is for Master's Lodge, nor can I add much to what our Worshipful Master had to say on the subject in his recent email. This will truly be a one of a kind opportunity for Masters Lodge to showcase our bright future as well as our storied history. For all you new guys this will be an opportunity to meet the Grand Master early on in your masonic careers - and at an event honoring your own lodge.

Brethren please come to the "St. John's Day Family Outing at our Masonic Care Community in Utica this Saturday, June 23rd. The campus will be transformed into a Carnival-like atmosphere and filled with musical sounds, kiddy rides, and the aroma of great food. Tour guides will be available to give tours of all of the facilities. There will be forty arts and craft booths, Antique Car Show, games, clowns, and musical entertainment.
